We offer direct one-to-one therapy in our center. Our center is set up to provide a rich, safe, and fun environment to inspire children to learn new information with 1:1 support. Children will have access to a wide variety of learning equipment and materials to meet their unique needs. They will also have opportunity to work on socializing with other children and create friendships.
We offer one-to-one therapy in community-based settings to help children generalize skills they have learned in the center. Additionally, using a naturalistic approach, we support children in acquiring new skills needed in the natural environment to promote independence. Our BCBA and therapists can also collaborate with families to make community outings such as going to the park, grocery store, and other events easier and enjoyable for everyone.
We provide age-based social skill training through playtime and community outing when appropriate.
We support your child in making friends and meaningful engagement with peers. Social skills training is a component of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. Using a set of techniques, we teach children with autism interpret social cues, understand other’s intentions, and respond and interact with others.
Step By Step ABA
ABA-based toilet training has a long history of research and effectiveness. Our BCBAs who have extensive training and experience in toilet training children with developmental disabilities will create a toilet training plan individualized for your child. Through parent training and collaboration your child will work to master the skills of toileting independently.
We know the importance of teaching independent living skills to children and adults with autism. These skills give them greater control over their lives, offer more choices for the future. Teaching independent living skills also reduces cost burden for families with a child or adult on the autism spectrum.
We provide parent training and coaching to help caregivers learn the same tools and techniques that our therapists apply during therapy sessions. We also offer consultation to other healthcare providers who are supporting children receiving services with us. We empower families to advocate for their children to reach their maximum potential through collaboration with other healthcare providers and schools.
